Photoluminescence Characterization of Low Dimensional II-VI Materials

Overall, there is a good balance of text and visuals, however, there is some white space that could have been utilized for the results. The first graph in the Results section is quite small and the description of the figure takes up only a little space, so they could have made the graph larger. Also, at the top of the poster, there is a lot of white space (as the center is taken up by the names in a larger font, so the sides have a lot of empty space that could have been taken up by the Introduction and Experiment slides and font of texts being bigger.

The slides mostly have bullet points, and slides such as the Introduction and the Conclusion are concise. However, the experiment and the objective slides are a little wordy, as there is no bullet points and they are instead lengthy paragraphs. The Experiment slide should have most likely been set up like the Methods Section so it would have been clearer. The poster has sections: Introduction, Objective, Results, Experiment, Application, Conclusion and Future Works (which is slightly different than IMRAD format).

The font is easy to read, as it is consistent in size and style. The color scheme is mainly purple, black, and white, which is easy on the eyes. There are no grammar or mechanical errors. The title is descriptive and lets me know exactly what is on the poster. There is a hypothesis in the Introduction, and it is clear and separate, so we know which part the hypothesis is. The illustrations for the Results are clear and easy to read, and the titles are clear and descriptive. There is no Discussion in the poster, however, there is a part for Conclusions and Future Work. They discussed the final results, and how the hypothesis was supported by the results.
